As Famous as the Moon was established in 1994. As a band we have performed everywhere from the Opera House to Parliament House and nearly every bar or venue in between.
The sound of the band is the cool classic jazz sounds of the 40s and 50s as well as the rhythmic brazillian bossa nova the carribian calypso and merengue as well as a touch of african grooves.
The instruments are Saxophone, Double Bass, Guitar and Drums. We aim to provide sounds and entertainment that can bring that extra something to your event.
